My Weekend

This weekend has been absolutely amazing, besides Friday. On Friday I had to go to the doctor because I have had a sore neck and back for months. He suggested I go and get X-Rays so right after the doctors I went to the X-Ray clinic. They will turn those pictures into the doctor and he will phone me next week to tell me what the soreness is all about. Besides that it has been great. On saturday I went last minute Christmas shopping with my grandpa and now we are all ready for Christmas finally I can't wait for that and christmas break! Saturday night I had hockey practice and after that I went to Mackenzie's house for a sleepover. We stayed up really late and had so much fun. We woke up late this morning and I went to the Bantam storm girls game against Russia with Zoe. We met up with a bunch of our friends there from hockey and had a great time. The Bantam girls played great and they won,it was such an exciting game and very close 3-2 for the Storm! Now I am writing this and will be going to Zoes house for hopefully another great night! (:

Term One Reflection

Reflections on Things so Far

So far I think I have been doing pretty good in this first month of school. Academically I have gotten good marks a average of 2-0 wrong on a normal assignment. I don't think I am even close to failing any subjects and think I have a gold honour roll right about now. The only thing I need to work on is getting my work done on time. I have been really trying but I try to put a lot of effort and work into my work so it is taking awhile to complete an assignment. Otherwise this first month has gone great. Extracurricular activities have also been going pretty good. I am in a lot and it is hard to balance them out but I am doing very good. For junior girls volleyball we have had two games and play two teams each time. For both of these games we have lost to one team each time. SLC is still keeping me busy and we have completed a lot of work and still have lots to go. It has been fun and exciting so far and a very new experience. Out of school hockey just started we have had 3 practices. I was only able to go to 2 of them and those two went very well. They were tiring but I learned a lot of new stuff. For my social life i think I have lots of friends who like and trust me. We have had lots of fun together so far this year and are going to have so much more, I can tell. I also have a very wide variety of friends and don't just stick to a couple. This year has gone great and I still have lots of fun and new experiences infront of me, I just can't wait!

Term One and Year Goals

This term I hope to keep up the good work and get pretty much the same marks as last year. I also want to get on the gold honour roll again. I will acomplish this by getting my work handed in on time and taking my time on it, not trying to rush through it. For extra curricular activities I have joined alot and I am going to try and keep joining more. I am in SLC, Yearbook, Splat and helping out with Take the Lead. I also made the Junior Girls Volleyball team and I hope to make the Bantam Girls Basketball too. To stay in these activites and join more I have to make sure I am keeping up with my work and not falling behind. I also have to make sure I am able to come to the meeting and different activities we do in the group. It is hard to make time for all them but I have managed so far and I hope to keep that up. Out of school I am joining girls hockey and I hope to have a good year, where I can learn lots of things. After hockey I am trying out for Softball, two of my other friends are too. I hope all of us make the "A" team but it will be fun and exciting no matter what. I want to play catcher again and third base, catcher being my main postition. This year is going to be great!

My Goals for Grade 7

This year I think I have been doing pretty good besides talking. I try not to talk but there are so many distractions it is hard not too. I am getting better at it though which is a good sign so I am going to keep trying. For school work I have gotten almost 100% on everything and have been doing great. I want to keep this work up and I really hope too get on the gold honour roll every term this year. So far this year I have had a very exciting and well planned SLC, I have also made the Junior girls volleyball team and we have a game coming up next Thursday. I hope to not win every game but try my hardest and have good games and practices. I am going to try my hardest all year in everything I do and I hope this is a wonderful and exciting year.

End of the year

I am so excited for the end of the year. I will miss my class and seeing my friends everyday but I am going to have a wonderful summer. This summer I am going to be very busy. I have to finish softball. This includes going to saskatoon for provincials having practices and going to playoffs. I am also going to the Edmonton, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Yukon. Well we are driving through those places and stopping at Yukon. We will be stopping in a few places though throughout those provinces and territories. Like the West Edmonton Mall. Also when we are in the Yukon we are probably going to go to Alaska so we got our passports. I might be going to a hockey camp this summer hopefully. I am also going to the exhibition this summer after my trip. I am going to go with my friends and just like last year I will go on every ride. I plan to hangout with my friends alot and have the greatest summer next year. I am also very pumped for next year because I will be in the SLC. I am the communicator along with Cassidy and we are going to have the greatest school year. Next year I am also going to try out for junior volleyball, bantom basketball and track and field. I am going to go into yearbook, splat and improv. I am going to be so busy but I will work everything out and have the greatest year ever.

Softball

This year I have a great team and we are actually doing pretty good. We have one about half of our games and lost the other half. Besides that we have great practices and the team gets along very well. We have had many great times and spent a lot of time off the field with our team too. I think the reason we are doing so good is because the great chemistry off the field. If we didn't have this we wouldn't be considered a team and it is definitely helping us get through this softball year.
